I traveled to Annapolis MD to work with these cuties! They were a busy bunch–and kept me laughing quite a bit! Often times when I work with groups of boys, things get wild, crazy and a little rough–and this was no exception! Working with little boys is so much fun–I adore their energy and excitement! It has so much fun watching these guys grow up over the years! Enjoy these sweet guys! xoxo andrea
What an incredible young lady! Mila won me over the instant we met. Her eyes sparkled and she was ready to have fun. We worked our way around the UVA Corner moving furniture, sneaking around alleys and meeting up with a men’s singing group near the Rotunda! It was quite the night!
Loved this wall at a local coffee shop!
Mila I had an incredible time with you. I hope that you reach all of your dreams this coming year and into the future. Thanks for letting me be a part of this special time in your life! I’ll never forget all of our giggles!
This little lady was such a fun little ray of sunshine! Her family came down to work with me from Alexandria! It’s always an honor when people travel to work with me–makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside! Anyhow, we met us at a very quaint and beautiful location called Prospect Hill. It is absolutely beautiful. A perfect place to plan a special weekend getaway or fun family gathering. I loved shooting on their gorgeous grounds!
Look at that sweet smile!
Relaxing in the hammock!
Mom and Dad did a little kissn’…
One of my favorite shots. So sweet.
She loooooved her mom and dad!
Skipping, skipping and more skipping!
A quiet pensive moment. Such pretty peepers!
This was so fun guys! Thanks for making me a part of your Charlottesville vacation! xoxo andrea
Oh sweet Savannah! I had so much fun racing rain storms with Savannah at this location! We finally got some clear skies and had so much fun together. Savannah is just a genuine person and so easy to warm up to! She has an adorable smile and I loved it when she looked to the sky and it made her eyes sparkle!
Good luck this year Savannah! I can tell you have an amazing future ahead of you! Can’t wait to see how it all unfolds!
I love photographing a beautiful blooming belly! It’s one of my favorite things to capture. There’s just something about a pregnant woman that is just stunning to me. Such a special time in a woman’s life to be able to capture. We shot these lovely images at Maymount Park. LOVED her sweet belly!
Love this sweet snuggly shot!
Another special cuddly shot. The light was just perfect!
Upon getting lost, I found this fabulous wall! Sometimes taking a wrong turn pays off
She is definitely glowing! So happy and beautiful!
A little shadow fun.
I cant wait to meet your sweet new little one VERY soon! xoxo andrea
I have loved working with this wonderful family for the past 4 years! It is always so much fun for me to see families grow and for clients to become friends! We shot these at Bellair Farm–thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful grounds! It is truly an enchanting place!
These two little ones made me smile so many times!
Lucky mama got some sweet cuddles!

I got to photograph Morgan last year and was honored that she allowed me to capture her senior portraits this year. Morgan is a very unique young lady and I love her humble smile. She is super smart and very athletic. It was awesome to work on her session right in her back yard with her many horses. We had a great time in the fields laughing and watching Dillion her horse show off for the camera. Morgan attends Albemarle High School and is in the graduating Class of 2014!
Good luck in all of your adventures Morgan. I love seeing you take life by the reins!
A few weeks ago I had some very special visitors…my nieces ,and brother and sis in law! We got to sneak out to take some pix in between the baby’s naps and our other shenanigans of cupcakes, toy shopping and yummy dinners. I always treasure this time with them as they don’t get up this way very often. My oldest niece, below, is one of my very first subjects! Many of you who have followed my work from the beginning will recognize her sweet little face. My how she has grown up! By the way, the bouquet was created by her–didn’t she do a great job!?
And now I have a new little niece. I had taken her newborn photos last year–but she has changed a lot from then! Such a happy girl!
Look at those pretty eyes!
Love this shot of her–one of my favorites from the shoot
The whole clan. Such a sweet shot.
Another favorite below.
Thanks for a great visit and a fun shoot! Always love seeing you guys and spending time with you all! xo andrea
First of all I LOVE my job! Working with high school seniors is one of my passions. I love getting to hear all about their journey and where life is taking them! I am so lucky to get the opportunity to capture this exciting time for them.
The moment I met Alex I knew we’d have fun during our session. Our location was full of fun visual treats! Alex had the energy and spunk to rock them all! We laughed so much that my belly hurt!
Alex is a high school senior at St. Anne’s Belfield and I am so lucky to have her as a Senior Model Rep this year! She is not only ADORABLE but very genuine young lady. Her personality and excitement for life shines in these images!
Thanks for a great time Alex! I can’t wait to see where this year takes you!
Ok, so for get LOCAL LOVE–this is more like local lust! I love these boots! And how lucky are we to have this fantastic woman, Heather Mcguire, selling them here in Charlottesville?! These truly are beautiful pieces of art. So much color and variety–and personality! Check out the cute little clog/mule style too! We had so much fun on this local love shoot. I had so many beautiful boots and lovely models to work with! Check it out below:
Ok, so now that you’ve seen these amazing pieces of artwork, go check out Heather’s site: Sweet Georgia Gray. I’ve also heard that you can find some of her boots at C&A Camp–a fun little treasure of a store tucked in the heart of Cville–go check it out! Oh and I also want to say thank you to Greenwood Store for allowing us to borrow their lovely grounds for this shoot! They are AMAZING–if you have never been–GO–yummy food, yummy beer and lovely people! And, lastly, thank you to our beautiful models–girls you were so much fun to work with!
Have a beautiful day everyone! And, don’t forget to get out and give Cville a little LOCAL LOVE this weekend! xo andrea
