So, by now you may, or may not, have seen that I am working with the Charlottesville Ballet. It has been so fun–and definitely a new learning experience. These talented dancers amaze me with their grace, beauty and STRENGTH! They are some strong people!
Any how, we’ve worked several times together this past year in different locations around Charlottesville–downtown, King Family Vineyards, Libery Mills Farm Corn Maze, and McGuffey Art Center to name a few. And if you scroll to the very bottom, you can see the head shots I did for them. It has been so much fun. We will be doing more together in 2013–so stay tuned. Also, please make time to see one of their fantastically talented performances this year–you will love their beautiful, graceful dancing! Enjoy! xx andrea
So many images to share. Here is a handful that will give you some idea of all we did this past fall…a lot!! A lot of cute kids, sweet families and beautiful babies! Remember to book your session for 2013 soon–things are filling up fast! Happy *almost* spring. Enjoy! xo Andrea
We love all things sweet and pretty! So imagine our surprise when we went into Charlottesville’s Sweet Haus and found both!
Last week, we took a rainy Tuesday and turned it into a sweet adventure by visiting this lovely little cupcake shop. We wanted to have some fun and spread a little local love with our cameras! It was so much fun to photograph–beautiful light, vintage charm, bright colorful candies, and beautiful cup cakes to boot! Take a peek at some of the fun shots we captured below.
PS-the adorable little girl in the photos belongs to Shack.
Such a fun, vintage feel! Parents can get a cup of coffee…
and their little one can feast on a yummy cupcake!
All sorts of gourmet type candies.
And colorful ones too!
Did we mention they have comfy, cool seating? I really wanted to take this sofa home with me!
And there’s even color on the ceiling
Peek a boo!
Be sure to go check this sweet, adorable shop out next time you have a hankering for a cup of coffee and something sweet! Thank you Sweet Haus for making Charlottesville sweeter place!
Love, love, loved working with this fantastic couple! We had so much fun! It’s always fun to capture new love! Because they enjoy cooking together, we started out in the kitchen.
Did a lot of smooching.
And a little bit of baking.
And came up with this! So fun!
Then, we headed to downtown Richmond for some fun.
And, my personal fave, the graffiti wall. Loved all the color and art! Such a neat place to shoot. I will definitely be going back there soon!
Such a great day! Thanks guys for being so very amazing! Best of luck to you on your new journey as husband and wife. xoxo Andrea
A few weeks ago, Angelina Ballerina came to Charlottesville. Since I have been doing so much work with the Charlottesville Ballet, I thought it’d be fun to capture some of Cville’s tiniest ballerinas–and it was! Such cuties, check it out:
Thanks for coming to take a peek. We’ll be back with more soon! xo Andrea
Hello! Yes, we know…it’s been a while–and for that, we apologize. We have missed sharing our work with you and look forward to getting caught up with all of the fun stuff we did last year and new projects we will be working on this year. We have so much to share!
We thought we’d start off with a new project we will be focusing on this year called “local-ness”. It will be featuring several businesses from around Charlottesville in one fun, collaborative and interactive photo! Each image will have a different theme and support different businesses from around town. Our first image is just in time for Valentine’s Day! Enjoy!
Oh, and be sure to click on each of the words/places in the image to visit each of their websites.
