Loved working with Bree again! I have worked with her so much in that she almost feels like family! She has another bun in the oven and I was honored to capture her beautiful bump! Love the serenity and simplicity of this first shot… I must brag on her wonderful husband as he BUILT all of their fabulous new bedroom furniture!! Loving this beautiful white headboard!
We got a few with the fam…
And then just some of Bree…
Loved this bush/tree–made me feel like we were in some sort of tropical rain forest!
A little maternity humor…
Had a fabulous time working with you Bree. As always, you were a sport! Can’t wait to meet your new little peanut! xo Andrea
Yup! Two sets of beautiful twins! Mom and dad are blessed with four sweet little girls. I must admit, I was a bit nervous about capturing all 4–as I have never worked with 2 sets of twins at the same time! But, I must say, it went pretty darn well! Take a look for yourself…
Love this first shot. I was trying to replicate a similar photo I had taken when the older girls were babies–love, love, love how it turned out!
And I have worked with these girlies for quite a few years now. It was been so fun to watch them grow up! Aren’t they little beauties?!
All four!!! Yay!!!! Mom wanted a shot with all four and I was determined to get her one! Thank you to dad for helping me make this possible!
The beautiful big sisters…
A fun one of dad!
And a couple of mom getting some sweet kisses and smiles!
It was so great to see you all again. Loved seeing your beautiful, glowing family! xo andrea
I had the pleasure of working with Sugarbritches of Gordonsville Va this past week. We were able to capture their clothing and the little models beautifully! I love the light and magical feeling these have! Please make sure to go check out their wonderful shop and tea party room in Gordonsville VA–it’s fabulous!! Enjoy!
This is Priyanka. She was just fantastic. I loved her whole look. She had a brilliant smile and sparkling eyes to compliment her lovely summery outfit! PS…LOVED the back of her top–what a nice little surprise!

Loved working with these beautiful ladies! Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate very well between the extreme heat, humidity and to top it off a severe thunderstorm, but somehow, we did manage to get some great shots!
We captured some sweet shots on this log–loved it!
Such a pretty shot!
Love this too. Summer is such a beautiful time to shoot!
Some of my faves!
And another one on their very cool log!
It was a pleasure working with you lovely ladies! I hope the doggie wedding went well!! xo Andrea
Another wonderful family to work with! And super sweet kids! They were all such troopers as it was so hot and miserable–it even started raining a bit! But we all stuck it out and got some wonderful shots! Take a peek:
She was as easy as they come to photograph! Look at that cute little smiling face!
And such a sweet happy little guy! He was the most relaxed 5 month old I think I’ve ever met!
And handsome big brother. He had a bit more of a serious side–which I happen to love, because I have a serious side as well. And, it lends it self to wonderful expressive photos like this:
Dad stealing a kiss…
So much personality!
Cute little man.
Daddy is a Colts fan, so mom brought everyone’s Colt jerseys.
It was such a pleasure working with all of you! Thank you for your patience and your willing attitudes. You have a wonderful family! xo andrea
This is Mandrill. I noticed him right away–loved his look…Handsome, stylish–I felt like I was was looking at a JCrew catalog. Mandrill, it was so nice to meet you! Thanks for letting me take your pic!

This is something I’ve been wanting to do for a while. I’m excited it’s finally coming to life! These will be weekly or biweekly posts called “On the Streets” that feature people in and around Charlottesville whose style speaks to me–people whose style and sense of self stands out in a crowd. I’ve never met them before taking their photos. I thought we’d start it out with the lovely Beth.
I met Beth yesterday and watched a bit of her amazing hooping downtown. Simply stunning! Trying to come up with a style description, we agreed on “bohemian thrift”. I loved her style and presence.

This little one stole my heart! She is just 100% cute–I don’t know if mom and dad will ever be able to tell those beautiful brown eyes no! I know I would be able to! I actually worked with this sweet little one as a newborn–so it was so fun to see her a year later. It always amazes me how many changes happen within the first year of life!
Mom and dad wanted to be sure to get some photos of their sweetie with her teddy bear. As you can see by the two photos below, she loved him very much!
We got a shot of her in this basket when she was just a wee one–so I thought it was appropriate to capture her in it again!
This is some serious cuteness. Looks at those eyes!
Loved capturing her fun expressions!
And as you can see, mom and dad are smitten…
Love this last shot!! So fun!
Loved working with you all again! You have a beautiful family! xo Andrea
Where oh where have I been????
Well…life has been busy! Between shoots, a much needed family vacation followed by some personal family trauma, I have not had a lot of time to post. But, I am hoping that things will be going back to normal soon–there is definitely something to be said about the “same old, same old”!
So, now on the some exciting news! If you haven’t already heard…Petit Bebe has a new owner! It makes me sad to say goodbye to it’s previous owner, Kim, as she has been such a wonderful person to work with! She helped me get my start in this town and for that, I am forever grateful! Kim, I wish you all of the best on your new adventures in life–you deserve nothing but joy and happiness! Thank you for your kind heart and your faith in me! It has been a pleasure working with you–and I am so thankful for your friendship!
Jill Tebbenkamp, the new owner, is absolutely wonderful! I am thrilled to continue my relationship with Petit Bebe and now with Jill. Make sure to stop in to the store and say hello–she’s such a sweetheart! I am so excited to have the opportunity to create beautiful images for such a wonderful shop. Below is a sneek peak of some pix of a recent shoot done at the store. Our goal was not only to showcase the beautiful products of Petit Bebe, but also some very special subjects. All of the beautiful children below are related to the employees of Petit Bebe! It was so much fun working with all of these adorable kiddos! Go take a peek:
Be on the look out because you just might see some of these beautiful faces up on the walls very soon! I’ll keep you posted! xo Andrea
