beth and wes are married!! {part 1}This past weekend I had the priviledge to shoot a fantastic wedding in Manteo, NC for Beth and Wes. It was a beautiful and classically elegant event. I was honored to be a part of it.
It’s always hard with wedding because there is so much territory to cover. So I’ve decided to do this in 3 parts–first, pre wedding details:
Aren’t the bride’s shoes AMAZING!!! LOVE them!

The gorgeous dresses:

Beautiful bouquets:

I want to add that the mother of the bride did the bouquets. She is fantastic with flowers and has an amazing eye!

A cool ring shot. Starfish were a key element of the wedding.

All the fun make up goodies…yum!!

A very cool grandma getting her make up done too. This family is full of gorgeous women!

Btw, if you are looking for a WONDERFUL make up artist, Kelly is fantastic! She does beautiful work and is a joy to work with! I could reccomend her enough!

Where to begin…I’ll give you fair warning that this is a looooong post–I have way too many beautiful shots to choose from and these below are truly just the icing on the cake! This wedding took place a the historic and incredibly beautiful Collingswood Library and Museum located in Alexandria, VA. All “getting ready” photos were taken at the Hotel Monaco also located in Alexandria, Va. The beautiful flowers were handled by Pat’s Floral Designs located in Madison, VA and the delicious catering by Avenue Events in Alexandria as well. I also want to give a shout out to my wonderful second shooter Lorena Perez–thanks so much girl–you are wonderul! And of coarse my husband err..um..technology coordinator George for all of his help–thanks baby!

bridal babe ~ Washington DC PhotographerI had so much fun hanging out with this beautiful bride!! I love it when people get me and my style–and she totally does! And can you say va va VOOM–Isn’t she incredibly sexy and gorgeous??? And look at those shoes!!

F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S veil–so fun and vintage!!

This was a fun shot…the bride actually saw the sign and said it would be funny for her to stand under it to give to future hubby–well, I thought, why not see if we can take it down and actually hold it!! And sure enough…I like to tell my clients that I will risk getting arrested for a good shot–they just need to be willing to bail me out so we can finish the shoot!! Totally worth it if you ask me!
