Somebody is turning one very soon!!  So what a great way to celebrate–right?  Well, the balloons lasted for all of five minutes, before floating away–and no, the baby did not let them go–right dad!  Ha Ha!  At least we got one or two good shots!

This is such a wonderful family to work with!  I love working with return clients–they know me better and don’t just think I am a crazy woman with a camera!!  We got some great field shots. . . take a look!

Ah, this couple was just so nice and easy going–and beautiful too!  I really enjoyed working with these guys!  We started out on the campus of UVA for a few shots. . .

Then we did a little switchy switch and got a bit dressed up and headed down town!  Clean up well–don’t they!  This is one of my favorite shots from the shoot!

I had the great pleasure of working with this great family yesterday!  I am working hard to have them their proofs before I head off for TWO AND A HALF WEEKS!!!  Aren’t they a cute couple?  They just went together so well!

by looking at this first photo that the beautiful woman in the photos is expecting her first child!  Aren’t they just a beautiful couple–honestly both inside and out!

See–there’s the bump!  They had this fabulous green couch that I really wanted to use in the photos–LOVE how this turned out!

This one cracks me up!  If you follow any of my work, you’ll know that I love to try and incorporate the family pet!

I wanted to go ahead and get that said, because I am sure you will be wondering if this an engagement session for this beautiful couple. Actually, they have been married for 7 or 8 years (can’t remember exactly!) For Valentine’s Day this year this husband purchased a package for a couple’s session for him and his beautiful wife! THEN . . . they request to have their session done at the Clifton Inn–and he books a night there for her birthday! I tell ya–he is a good guy! Aren’t they a beautiful couple!! (click each image to see larger) This is a view from their very cool room–I was shooting in the bushes from below! We did a lot of laughing. . . There was beautiful scenery everywhere!

On a side note, if you are a couple–no matter how long you’ve been together, you should consider doing something like this–whether it is with me or another photographer of your choice–just do it! When was the last time just the two of you had beautiful photographs taken to capture you passion and love?
