 This was my third time working with this wonderful family!  And, as you can see they are growing from a family of 3 to 4!  They came to Charlottesville for me to capture some fun family shots before their new little one is born!  Unfortunately, it was the ONE day it decided to rain in the last month!  So…we did our best, but the weather did not cooperate!  However, we did get some really sweet shots that captures this family well in this fleeting stage of life!  Enjoy…

For this maternity shoot we worked at Barboursville Vineyards…sooooo pretty out there!  You really must visit!  Lots of lush green, rolling hills, beautiful vineyards–a wonderful place for a shoot and a glass of wine or picnic!!

No secrets about what this little one’s name will be!  I must give credit to dad, as he is the one who placed these blocks so nicely!  And, credit goes to mom too for holding her breath so we could get the shot!

I just loved working with this couple!  They were up for anything and so kind!  You’ll get to meet their little one in just a few short weeks!  Can’t wait!

Yes, I am back at it!  And the is no better way to start of the year than with a beautiful maternity session!  We started off inside.  Love how these turned out!  Isn’t she just a beautiful pregnant lady!  I truly love the shape of the pregnant body…nothing is more beautiful.

Then we headed outside for a few.  They had some fabulous woods near their house and the lighting was just beautiful!

They had this cool jeep.  When I saw it, I politely wiped the drool from my chin and then asked if we could incoporate it in to some photos.  They were more than happy to oblige!  Such troopers!  As you can see, it was well worth it!  Aren’t the colors fab!!

Alrighty, that’s all for now.  I am almost finished up with my commercial project which I am SOOOO excited about.  Can’t wait to share more about that.  I also have some exciting news to share soon in the future…I know, I’m a tease!  Soon…  Take care everyone!

Maternity photography is one of my favorites!  I am so blessed get to work with such BEAUTIFUL and amazing women–and capture such a special time in their lives!

So I got to work with this hot prego mama not too long ago.  She is a sweetheart and a half!  Not to mention she has great style–look at that dress!!  And, she has some of the coolest hair ever!!!

This one too!  I’ve always wanted to work in a corn field!  I am actually considering trying to do some fall family shots in a cornfield–soo fun!!

I loved working with this couple!  Not only were they up for trekking around in muddy grass and rain to get good photos, but they were totally understanding when we had to reschedule due to torrential down pours in the middle of their session!  We did catch a few cute ones the first time around…

 Luckily, the weather gods smiled upon us the second time around, and we had sunny skies!  Look at this maternity hotness!

This one is especially for her husband…he was a lot of fun and had a great personality.  I found out in the middle of the session that his mom is a photographer–talk about pressure!
